I speak at events and teach seminars and workshops on topics related to the bridge between nature and our health and well-being. Andrés does a talk and book signing for The Heart of Sustainabilityat Book Passage book store in Corte Madera, CA. He discusses the evolution of The Heart of Sustainability from his previous two book, Thriving Beyond Sustainability and The Sustainability Revolutiuon. The talk includes the human connection to nature and the role of leadership and activism.
Invited presenter, "The Economics of a Green Campus," at the Green California Community Colleges Summit, Pasadena, CA (October 8, 2008). Strategies for implementing energy efficiency and resource conservation education programs and actions on college campuses; examples include dorm energy competitions and other student-led initiatives.
Invited speaker on “San Francisco Bay Green Architecture” at the Turning Point conference hosted by the San Francisco Institute of Architecture, San Francisco, California (July 14, 2006).
