I speak at events and teach seminars and workshops on topics related to the bridge between nature and our health and well-being. Overview of the sustainability movement with examples from The Sustainability Revolution and projects with colleges and business enterprises.

  • Invited panelist for “Visioning A Green Campus” with Sim Van der Ryn, Frances White and Rob Barthelman at The Green Festival, San Francisco, California (November 12, 2006). Discussion about the green initiatives of the modernization program at the College of Marin.

  • Invited speaker at the Presidio Graduate School, San Francisco, California (May 13, 2006). Presentation about sustaiability concepts and strategies to MBA students from one of the leading green MBA programs. 

  • Instructor of sustainability class: “Sustainability: Principles to Practices,” at the College of Marin, Kentfield CA. (Jan-Feb. & Sept-Oct. 2006). Taught sustainability class covering key concepts, initiatives and practices for continuing education program.

    Andrés participates on a panel discussion at the University of Colorado at Boulder 68th Annual Conference on World Affairs with Vivian Onano and Andrea Polli. He discusses global citizenship initiatives and answers questions in Q/A section.
