With a background in media design and production, Andrés Edwards has extensive experience in developing strategies that clearly convey an organization’s communications goals. 	tibet environmental watch (TEW) San Rafael, California Andrés Edwards co-founded with Robert Apte the Tibet Environmental Watch (TEW), a non-profit group and web site which includes information about the publication of their book, Tibet: Enduring Spirit, Exploited Land. The website presents current environmental reports about: wildlife, development, biodiversity, appropriate technology, etc. in Tibet and the region. Currently the website is receiving about 7,500 hits a week. (1998 - Present)
	Convivial Design Abiquiu, New Mexico As Senior Designer, Andres Edwards worked on The Young Scientist Series which focuses on a story-based approach from which to investigate the content covered in the World Book Encyclopedia print material. In the series Stories from Below, for example, users may access cases dealing with subjects from beneath including the ocean floor, mines, tunnels, roots, and under the skin. (1995)

Washington, DC As interface designer, Andrés Edwards participated in concept design and writing for the Explore section of the Earth Explorer Environmental Encyclopedia which explains environmental concepts through interactive activities as part of an Environmental Science CD-ROM for national distribution by Apple Computer. Oakland, California As producer of The Civil War Enhanced Videodisc Series, Andrés Edwards managed a team including writer, graphic artist, and researcher for the design and production of this PBS Video videodisc program based on Ken Burns' PBS Series: The Civil War. 	Sea Studios Inc. Monterey, California The Florida Aquarium Interactive Exhibits - As Senior Designer, Andres Edwards managed a team comprised of a writer and programmer in the concept design of interactive stations about coral reefs for the Florida Aquarium, Tampa, Florida. (1994)
